The Thing Under Your Bed by Stephen Kozeniewski

A little girl wakes up to discover a bizarre entity has taken residence underneath her bed. Trapped within a safe haven of covers and pillows, she and her faithful stuffed animal Captain Bundrick must find a way to not only battle the merciless beast but also survive the night.

Author Stephen Kozeniewski creates his horror within four bedroom walls of a little suburban home. From a helpless child confronting an unknown terror to a worn stuffed rabbit that provides comfort, solace and security, this is not your your mother’s monster that lives under the bed. Expect graphic violence, netherworld imagery and a central conflict that leads to an unpredictable bloody demise.

This novella literally comes out of left field and serves up a dark fictional main course of terrorizing tentacle terror. What slithers and lurks within the pages of The Thing Under Your Bed is none other than solid nightmarish conceptions straight from the mind of Kozeniewski. The reader will quickly become aware that while some choices are certainly easier than others, each carries its own consequences of carnage.
The opening line grabbed my undivided attention and established a clear voice of what will be laid out…”I’m going to eat you and your whole family.” And damn you Kozeniewski for that ending! It has moved into my brain rent free even though an eviction notice has been served, it refuses to leave…damn you. A five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Horror Bookworm Recommendation.
