When a round of mailbox baseball goes wrong, revenge and retribution become a horrifyingly calculated form of brutality with unimaginable consequences. Episodes Of Violence is a novel of reckless lives taking center stage and where relationships encompass abuse and justified vengeance. Author David Bernstein cleverly places two unlikely paths that cross ending in magnified violence. This one is pretty high on the extreme and creepy spectrum, so readers beware (it contains potentially distressing material…to say the least). David Bernstein knows how to keep it morbid in the most gruesome of ways. There were so many unpredictable intense moments that I literally could feel anxiety settling within my bones. This in turn is how Bernstein keeps his readers in check. Not knowing what will happen from one page to another is a strong advantage that this author has created. Innocence to gruesome treachery, Episodes Of Violence evolves as quickly as a grunt goes to a poop. 
Taking lives is part of the DNA of civilization, it’s a natural order of population control, if you will. Sigmund Freud and his study of human behavior is turning over in his grave right about now. I already can tell, any past and future writings of this author is gonna cause stretch marks on my wallet. A five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Horror Bookworm Recommendation.
