Splatterpunk’s She Dotted Her Eyes edited by Jack Bantry

- It’s the end of times, a father has strong undisclosed desires towards a certain Night-Of-The-Living-Dead type zombie. His lust is one of the deepest and most closely-guarded secret.

- What happens when you discover the identity of a well-known serial killer. Confronting the truth about the Downtown Dixonville Dismemberer begins now…

- Significant deaths have occurred of recent years. Welcome to Twin Oaks, Texas, a place where a blossoming demonic entity has sprouted its evil. Think of Where The Red Fern Grows meets The Exorcist.

- The theory of…licking a toads back is better than acid and mushrooms combined, is put to the test. Visit a murky, mossy swamp and find out the mind-blowing results.

From the harsh history of Greyholme Asylum to a flyer advertising a most unusual midnight Performance Art Theatre. Ladies and gentlemen, you have been officially committed to Jack Bantry’s anthology, She Dotted Her Eyes.

Inside this sinister sanctuary you will meet author inmates the likes of Bracken MacLeod, Brian Keene, J.F. Gonzalez, Gabino Iglesias, Christine Morgan, PC3, the freakishly twisted Ryan Harding and Jeff Strand who provides the perfect horrific comic relief. She Dotted Her Eyes is a list of who’s who in Splatterpunk today.

Jack Bantry is like Alfred Hitchcock, he has gathered some heavily talented authors for this collection of seventeen previously published stories. It’s everything you would expect from the Master of Macabre…Sir Splatterpunk himself…Jack Bantry.

Reading She Dotted Her Eyes is like waking up naked and tied to a chair. It throws all morals out the window by using shock, desperation, revulsion, suffering, and torture as tools of the extreme trade. Chandler Morrison sets the pace perfectly with the first story, while Janine Pipe provides one of the most gruesome twists I have ever read. I bow down to you Janine.

Nothing I say will really prepare you for this collection of carnage. That being said, I’ll leave you with my favorite quote, “Sometimes, things are just fucked up.” A five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Horror Bookworm Recommendation.
