Patrick C. Harrison III partners up with the one and only Daniel Volpe for the second installment of Visceral. Entitled Filleted Flesh, this collection of non-conventional short stories follows in the footsteps quite well of PC3 and Christine Morgan’s first venture into the world of internal organ festivities. Part 2 holds the distinct honor of probably the most disturbing story I have yet to read. A clique of young boys venture to an isolated area bearing their bag of bottle rockets, smoke bombs, Black Cat firecrackers and M-80’s. What seems like innocent childhood fun turns into one heck of a traumatizing good time. Warning! Visceral 2 contains disturbing content that include topics of sexual abuse, eating disorders and violent bodily harm. These stimulating prompts are not for the faint of heart, but rather for those who support and enjoy the extreme horror movement. You know who you are. When I saw that two of my favorite authors had joined together, my mind was blown. Every Filleted Flesh expectation I had was fulfilled with large amounts of unadulterated meat and marrow by this disturbing dynamic duo. 
What can I say, these stories of stomach churning oddities, amputated evolutions and unpleasant creepy-crawlies coagulate into one writhing mass of uncomfortableness. It is my belief that each and every copy should be sold with a bite-stick to cope with all the unbearable moments of intense glorification. An absolute five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Horror Bookworm Recommendation!
