This excellent array of dark fiction is created with abnormal revulsion, a dash of Bizarro and a pinch of dark humor served up for the common phobophile. From a baggage claim conveyer belt that reveals a surprise for all to see to an ominous sea creature lurking below the surface (something straight outta Trenchmouth). In addition, just in time for Christmas, a little ditty that does not concentrate on the good little boys and girls, instead focuses on Santa’s naughty list. We all know Christine Morgan holds the title of Queen of the Extreme, but did you know she has a great sense of humor? I have witnessed her award acceptance speeches, her participation on various panels and let’s not forget her as a gross out contestant. She is actually funny as fuck. Her ability to place the reader within the realms of her warped imagination is a gift that keeps on giving. Morgan provides these escapes we all need from the struggles of everyday life and for that, we thank her. 
Before I wrap up this review, I have to share one more bit of a macabre morsel with you. An entertaining story that has shades of C.H.U.D. & An American Werewolf In London. This ravenous beast awaits in the shadows and is better known as a Were-Racoon. Only Morgan could make that story a successful feature. The dark tide of Almost Normal Horror has officially come rolling in, go grab a copy for yourself. A five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Horror Bookworm Recommendation.

I enjoy Christine’s work, but I haven’t read her short fiction. Almost Normal Horror sounds fantastic! Heh-heh, and what’s that crawling out of the teacup on that awesome cover?!
