Southard provides the perfect feeding ground for readers of all horror genres. His versatility showcases the likes of Edward Lee, Ronald Kelly, Rod Serling and The Crypt Keeper. Experience the uncomfortable talent for yourself. I have to say, after consuming Wesley Southard’s Resisting Madness (heavily recommended) I simply could not wait for this book. I was not disappointed. The side notes he provides for each and every story is an interesting special feature that takes a behind the scenes look at his creativity. 
What makes Southard’s style of writing a success is the ability to not only relate to the average person, but to also include menacing places that have a sad reality of todays society. It’s always refreshing to read the voices that exist within this author’s head and heart. A five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Horror bookworm Recommendation.
