Two men discuss signing up for a research study at a mysterious enterprise named DrugCorp. With a chance to make a good amount of cash, the pair find themselves filling out DrugCorp patient intake paperwork. Knee deep in neurochemical exploration and crucial pharmacologist studies, the side effects of unknown drugs and chemicals become something beyond horrifying for the two. Escape seems hopelessly unattainable.
Corporate Body by R.A. Busby is the sixth book in the My Dark Library collection. Its foundation of drug development hidden from the public strikes way too close to home making it that much more frightening. Donating plasma, taking strange pills and volunteering for needle injections, the reader finds themselves a Guinea pig for Busby’s experimentation in medical body horror.
Corporate Body takes the reader on a journey of identical hallways, unlabeled doorways and the cleanliness of a cafeteria that gives a creepy claustrophobic atmosphere. Between these pages lies an inner parasitic vibe advancing an unusual plot of foul segmented monstrosities. The whole series of My Dark Library is well worth exploring and strongly recommended. They are very similar to Lays potato chips, “betcha can’t read just one.”

Be sure to read the small print before signing on the dotted line and beware of any road signs that read “Danger: Restricted Area.” This is a strong five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Horror Bookworm Recommendation.
