Exactly The Wrong Things by Candace Nola, Joseph M. Monks & Franklin E. Wales

- A man places the final piece to a revenge puzzle by exploring the underground black film market. While stripping away all moral lifestyles, a woman seeks popularity, fame and fortune assisted by blindfolds and ballgags. These two disturbing paths cross resulting in a violent conclusion. - A couple begin a quest to replace their infant who suffered a terrible death. In the most unlikely of places, the attempt of rebirth takes place within a sideshow of freaks and horrors. This yearning of having a baby is eventually granted through the most unholy of conceptions. - A young woman agrees to an all paid secluded ocean cruise with her “sugar daddy.” An isolated boat ride to sew her wild oats that promises the gluttony of eat, drink and be merry. However there’s a sinister motivation behind the consumption of this “deception punch” that involves a proposal of morbid flesh and life’s blood.

Welcome to Exactly The Wrong Things, a chapbook celebrating Edward Lee’s The Big Head. Extracting the first line from his classic novel, along with the Splatter Queen herself Christine Morgan providing the second line, three authors have gathered to scribe individual short stories that begin with these wonderful introductory words of wrongdoing. What a great concept!

With no further ado please welcome the traumatizing three…Franklin E. Wales, Joseph M. Monks and Candace Nola. Everything you thought you knew about stomach churning extreme/splatter fiction has completely been reinvented by these 3. The World’s Largest Bearded Lady and Lobster Boy are among many psychedelic characters that inhabit the pages within this intermeshed dark womb of fiction.
There’s no guilt or shame in reading this dilapidated moralistic piece of splatter fiction! (Although I found myself having the 8mm Nicholas Cage face while reading this brutal piece of art, sex and death way too often.) Readers should have an open mind while reading this one. Of course the trouble with having an open mind is that people will insist on trying to put things in it…literally. A five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Horror Bookworm Recommendation.
